Rose is Trevor and Sypha’s daughter. KONAMI says Sypha fell victim to Dracula’s curse; RPGFan identifies her as Rose’s late mother and says Rose bears the same curse. The game is set 23 years after Trevor and Sypha fought Dracula, but these sources do not independently confirm when Sypha died.

Which other characters do reviewers discuss?

KONAMI’s character page lists Dracula, Death, Medusa, Carmilla, Joan of Arc, Isaac, and The Fallen. RPGFan’s review also discusses Death, Joan of Arc, and Medusa. Use KONAMI’s page for announced character descriptions; story roles and outcomes may contain spoilers.

How is this cast connected to older Castlevania games?

KONAMI places the story 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse and identifies Trevor as the hero who defeated Dracula. RPGFan also places Belmont’s Curse after the Castlevania III era and Curse of Darkness, with Rose as Trevor’s daughter. This establishes the family and timeline link without implying that every older character returns.
